Our Tech
At Avantti Medi Clear, we leverage cutting-edge EBeam technology to redefine sterilization standards for the medical device industry. This innovative, eco-friendly solution uses high-energy electrons to deliver precise and efficient sterilization without harmful chemicals or radioactive materials. Our commitment to advanced technology ensures unmatched reliability, faster turnaround times, and compliance with the highest international standards, providing you with safer, greener, and more efficient solutions.
EBEAM TECHNOLOGY
How Ebeam Works?
EBeam sterilization relies on a linear accelerator powered by commercial electricity to generate high-energy electrons. These electrons break the DNA chains of microorganisms, effectively eliminating them without leaving behind toxic residues. The process is customizable based on the product's chemical and physical properties, ensuring optimal sterilization for each medical device.
EBEAM
Why Choose E-Beam over
EtO and Gamma
When choosing methods for sterilizing medical devices, options include ethylene oxide (EtO), cobalt-60 gamma irradiation, and electron beam irradiation (E-Beam). Each method has distinct advantages and disadvantages. However, with recent EPA regulations requiring significant reductions in EtO emissions due to its carcinogenic and environmental risks, E-Beam stands out as the most efficient, safe, and environmentally friendly option.
The source is a radioactive isotope.
Environmental issues associated with transport, storage, and disposal of cobalt-60.
Slow process (usually about 8 hours).
The process cannot be customized for individual packages.
Safety & Security issues.
Availability of Fuel Rods
(Cobalt-60).
Uses electricity as the source. The majority of medical devices are compatible with
E-Beam.
Extremely high product throughput (minutes).
The e-Beam process can be customized to customer needs. Proven technology and worldwide applicability.
Switch On-Off technology.
Toxic gas.
Flammable, explosive, and highly toxic carcinogen.
Very slow process (days).
High operation costs.
Penetration is difficult for some materials.
The process leaves behind residuals.
The green sterilization solution
Governments worldwide are pushing for greener alternatives to traditional sterilization methods due to the toxicity and environmental risks of EtO and Gamma irradiation. EBeam 17 offers a sustainable solution by eliminating hazardous materials and using electricity as its only energy source.
This makes it a safe, scalable, and environmentally friendly option for sterilizing medical devices.
